In 2017, a little known permanently implanted medical device, with an unknown demographic of users was recalled from the market, but recipients of that device were not notified.

Essure is a mix of inflammation causing plastic surrounded with tightly bound metal coils, coils that are known to corrode, fall apart, and occasionally are expelled in what is sometimes an excruciating experience.
All recipients of the Essure permanent IUD deserve a thorough examination in light of the long list of side effects along with fair and reasonable treatment.
